Today, in a Splash of color....
Blue is calming. It can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly. Almost everyone likes some shade of the color blue... and here is a mood board and some pretty clear examples of why blue is such a coveted color among interiorists. I, quite frankly, have had a crush on Aqua for many years now and when I saw these rooms my heart almost melted.

The inspiration for the living-room below, must be that gorgeous wall paper, so exotic and chic... notice how they used the same colors for the window treatments, wall paint and the rest of the accents. Main colors are beige, silver, white and of course blue.
***For this bedroom, they have used the exact same color palette from the living room above, but the room itself is far more dramatic thanks to the padded aqua headboard and the bold curtains that truly make a statement as well as the luxurious bedding and the mirror-covered night stand.
