Today's Brittish Place: East Sussex Home
Oh how I love this feature.
You know geeky me, obsessed with Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter and all things brittish. Today, some brittish awesomeness via House to Home.
This ultra-chic home is an early Victorian house in a village in East Sussex. There's a kitchen-diner, TV room, study, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and in the loft there's another double bedroom and a playroom. The color palette is TO DIE.
Try to disagree...
The prints made me drool.
Did you likey?

If you are into minimal and contemporary design, this is definitely right up your alley. This house also features a strong Asian influence that is mostly present in the bedrooms and the amazing backyard.
This is Therapia House, enjoy my darlings!
This is not my jam but I honestly can see some very beautiful elements in this house. LOVE the simplicity, the wood work and the bold use of color.
YAY or NAY?

Palace Rd. House in London has so much simplicity and beauty I am like, floored. You see, i have a weakness for white spaces, {I'll wait till my kid is older though..........ok who am I kidding, I am just bad at deep-cleaning on a regular basis}.
This house has certain elements beyond the white walls, trims and frames we cannot overlook: fresh, organic slipcovers, natural fibers and wood, touches of baby blue, bare windows or VERY simple blinds, and many elements that were repurposed and revamped in some way. This is a DIYer's dream you guys. Let's see it!
Hello this kitchen!!! I love YOU!
Did you adore it or WHAT!

The Hipster, Retro-chic vibe of the Homewood House in London make it totally dreamy.
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I dig the first image: the mid-century mustard chair, the gallery wall, the lamp, the white floors, the soft grey wall......
Then... there is the tulip side table and the GORGEOUS pink sofas. The rusty mirror and the charcoal rug
The foyer features ceiling details to die, more antiques and a fox!
Many more interesting elements in this shot..... house is a little creepy and fabulous at the same time.
mustard and grey........... Genius.
I'd totally break into this room manana.... look at the gorgeous black swan chair, the ceramic dogs, the lamps, the long table and the priceless assortment of chairs. Not to mention the chandeliers!!
Is this bedroom perfection, or WHAT!

Oh have I neglected my beloved interiors from across the pond!!! but here I am to redeem myself!
The Trafalgar apartment in London has a very crisp, clean style. What I like about it is that incorporates great vintage elements that make the space feel mature, grown up and with history.
U like?
Loves the aged floors, the white brick walls...........

Yay or Nay?
I am forever in love with chandeliers, but some designs are a big much for me... I am more of a classic/old-school kinda gal. So here's one I found and I am not sure how I feel about it, or where would I hang it. Probably an all-white girl bedroom? an office? OK, what say you...
Luvs it? or not so much...?

The Balcombe house, located on West Sussex is MY kinda place. A mix of delicious swedish and urban chic but most importantly, it is comfortable and livable. I simply adore the work on the fireplaces, it's absolutely drool-worthy. Let's see if you likey.............

I love this arrangement, and the vignette on the mantel!!! swoon.
Another successful Mantel arrangement here... and BRICKS! {Je adore bricks.}
Sometimes you just want LESS instead of more. Specially in a guest bedroom... what say you?
I die for the mixed and matched dining set. Perfection!
And the kitchen island....
A closer look to the island, (ehem!!!... did you guys notice the INSANE floors!!??)
Another approach to the simple lines combined with accent objects to add personality, not so simple to pull off though.
I need these and pronto.
The daughter's bedroom is definitely my fave room in the house. So chic and perfectly styled, there are a few femenine touches, geniusly paired with black items to give the room structure. Not your typical girl's bedroom and that's what makes it OH-SO FAB!!!!!!!
OK. guys, I get to this point and I just CANT DEAL. Just look at the real-size doll house out in the back.
Do you love it?
