I hate to make excuses, but between all the work, the ballet dancing, the son and the new boyfriend, I just dont know where my inspiration has gone...

 There was a time when I thought I was never going to be able to stop writing, that I needed to blog to be ok - turns out I am ok. But I do feel the need to reach out again, and ask, how are you all??????

catching up...

Hey there beauties, so this is my apology... for being away for so long. I have missed you so!!!

Since I got back from my biz trip it's just been hectic, work has been so busy (I was promoted, yayyy!!!) and ballet has been demanding.

I dont know if I told you but I am back in ballet after 7 years of not dancing. It was SO HARD!!! but now it seems I am back on track and this weekend I am having my first theatre performance so wish me luck ;)

This is me after my first class in 7 years... nearly dead...

OH, I also am a brunette now ;) so far... I am having as much fun as a blonde.

So, I am Midwest bound this weekend.

Flying to St Louis on Sunday and then Minneapolis for a few glorious days of chilly weather. I kid-you-not, it's still sauna-hot here at home {Puerto Vallarta}.

So I am going there for work, but I still could not be more excited as Minneapolis is a favorite of mine, AND I am meeting with a dear girlfriend for an afternoon of shopping!! yayyy!

Ok, enough yappin' bout itinerary and stuff.

Saturdance! High Up in the Air...

That's right. HIGH up in the air is where she belongs.

My second favorite Prima Ballerina is Natalia Osipova. A beautiful young dancer {she is 25} who recently left the Bolshoi Theater to move to the Mikhailovsky Theater in St. Petersburg. She cited "artistic freedom" as her reason for leaving..... so did her fiance, the AMAZING Ivan Vasilev {the next Baryshnikov, as critics call him}.


Natalia has dance every single leading role but the ones I like for her are energetic, explosive roles, as the allegro & jumping are CLEARLY her thing. Check her out and try to disagree!
