Backyard Wedding please

This is a super-adorbs DIY backyard wedding i am crazy about. {via}

The simple, honest, warm feeling it gives is PRICELESS you guys, they did everything in their own backyard, of the house they puchased together, how flippin'-sweet is that! I am particularly loving the certerpieces, the adorable ring bearer, the placecards and the ultra-cute cake with the love-birds...

man! It's almost too sweet!, but not quite. OK you be the judge!

SO,

What are you up to this weekend???

PaTiO WorkS

Sorry I took so long guys! here it is.... My patio. Still needs some work and accents but the hardest part is done [yayy!!!].

Before: Ugly, Dirty & Useless
{yeah, that's a dead christmas tree LOLs}

After...

I planted 10 of these over the past two weeks. Had breakfast outside on sunday with my son and we enjoyed the birds and the butterflies on our flowers. Loves it!

[I have had that Aloe vera for a while but I relocated it]

This tree is suposed to grow pretty tall, not sure if I will like it or if I will end up replacing it for something else like a palm tree.

Bought the table and a bench and now I have to find chairs and figure out what I want to do on that wall on the left.

I love the image of St Francis of Assisis and bout this baby on sale at Home Depot [LOLs]
You put water in the bowl and birds will stop by for a drink.

The floor I chose is a Terrace floor. It almost looks like it's tile. I really love the warmth of this color and design.

More on the flowers... as you can see they are climbing pretty fast! the idea is to have that entire wall covered in green and flowers. [The top of the wall is fenced so that's where they plants will attach themselves]

You likey???

When I buy the chairs, paint that wall on the left, or add a mirror or whatever I do, I will show an update.

PaTiO WorkS

Oh after all I have talked about it, [you are probably thinking "alright already!!"]... I began my patio renovation this week {pictures coming soon} so far it's been all about the dirty work, digging out the dirt to put the concrete in and the floors next {I bought beautiful exterior floors} in a total of 27 square mts and once I finish this part we will work on the plants, the walls and the furniture.

Anywayyyy.... here are four {Fabulousness times four} beautiful Patios I have totally fallen head over heels for, they are all going in different directions it would be hard for me to pick a favorite. Let's see what u think!

Are you lucky enough in life to have a gorgeous tree in the middle of your patio? what a blessing! seriously, this is absolutely stunning for me, you can hang lanterns and decorations and always feel in paradise!

Now, this arrangement is a dreamk, I cannot get over beauty of this arch, surrounded by nature and little lights, the most romantic setting I have seen and I'd be crazy not to try something similar! what do you think??

Zen inspired patio, a soothing oasis where you can forget all your troubles and enjoy the blessigns of mother nature. So beautiful but not so practical in my opinion {cuz i need shade and a place to sit down and have cocktails!... I know that is SO NOT Zen behavior!}

Another oriental/zen version but covered up and much cozier and inviting. Me LIKEY!
{and I will take that Budha PLEASE!}

have a lovely thursday my beautiful friends!!!

Al fresco...♥

Oh man!! I keep dreaming about a perfect backyard... mine is still a mess, haven't gotten around to working on a budget for it and when I look at inspiration images like these, I die.

The {highly anticipated} arrival of spring has this effect on all of us, doesnt it? suddently its all about out-door spaces, "al fresco" dining and entertaining... {major sigh!!...}

Alright, so in my humble opinion, the are two reasons why these scenarios work...

mixin & matchin ;)
Just look at all of these flea market finds below....

and, Perfect shade... and nice green view!

Do you have a gorgeous outdoor space that will make me green with envy??? hehe ;)

For a HOT summer day...

Well!! I don't know about you, but I am 'baking' here! (not baking a pie, just baking!) it is WAAYY too hot here in PV and also humid (the rains aren't here yet) I want to move inside a tub with fresh water and aromatherapy.... (I know, that sounds a little crazy)... anyway, if you are in the same 'state of mind' as me, maybe its time to do something to freshen up, Here are a couple ideas to make your warm summer afternoons more enjoyable...
°°°
How about installing an oasis in the middle of your patio/backyard? citric colorful and lovely pillows?

Pretty Lanterns hanging from the trees......

Happy, colorful candle-holders also hanging from the trees... you'd better start planting trees ;) hehe
