Sexy Interiors

I obsessed quite dangerously with black walls a while ago... I was determined to paint at least one wall in my house black. Well, guess what? I sorta feel the same way about black floors. I need a shrink.

C´mon... No use in denying these floors are totally awesome.

My floors are tile so I can't paint them....Booooh!

Black Thoughts

Lately I have been toying with the idea of painting my bedroom black, well, the one accent wall actually. The fabulousness of black accent walls is undeniable, but it sure takes a tremendous amount of courage, not to mention expertise to pull it of. I determined to find some inspiration and obviously found some all-kinds-of-awesome rooms. Thoughts? Should I do it?

Look at this... is it not fabulous? I wish I had the courage to go black!... somehow I find it difficult to pull in a kitchen, not sure I could do it right.

However, I might try BLACK in my bedroom this new year... not so hesitant there!

I am a big fan of the effect of contrast, I think it turns any boring space into a very stylish one... Today I wanted to post about contrasts in the kitchen, the fabulous use of dark and light. I think all of these are amazing, the dark items really stand out and give the place so much personality! don't you think?

Here's my computer generated room of the week!

This would be my dream bedroom (or at least one of them!!) I soooo want this lamp and the art above the headboard and I can not begin to tell you how crazy I am about splashes of red in a black and white room. Enjoy...
