random rooms to die for

Time for some delicious randomness.

First off:

This gorgeous red room via LivingEtc I am swooning.. let's review this shall we?

* WORKS because it's detailed, so much attention and work to every corner of this room
* WORKS because of the detailed upholstery & yummy aqua accents
* WORKS because window treatments are JUST the right amount of sheer & gold
*WORKS because red rocks. Period. {I have a red kitchen ha!}

This one gorgeous nook via Dustjacket Attic works because:
* They didnt mess around with it, the bare windows pay tribute to the fabulous architectural value of this nook... sometimes less is more.  {sometimes}

Vogue always manages to successfully provide the kitchen porn to the party. J'ADORE this kitchen which:
* WORKS because its modern YET warm (lights and subway tiles provide the vintage feel to it)
* Stainless steel + white = Perfection

My boyfriend moved into a house with a similar kitchen, only it's painted of some sort of ugly green {not olive, noooooooo... just ugly} Makes me wanna run to home depot. We'll fix that though.

This is mint green heaven via the Lennoxx. What a dreamy color you guys. This is a perfect Hamptons Style little reading corner. I can almost hear the FRIGGIN' ocean.

This is the kitchen I'd have if I was any kind of talented - ALL chalkboard. Why not!? Via SF Girl by Bay
* It works because it breaks all the rules to fit into the owner's lifestyle & needs.

Now THAT's Feng Shui!!!

I am like obsessed with dark-dark grey. This room via the Lennoxx seems inspired entirely on the Orchids. The chairs, the storage unit, the styling.. everything seems to work around the gorgeousness on the table. This room works because it's honest and grown up, no bull shit. Just good taste. AAAh... feels nice.

About the above randomness: I set aside many rooms I like during the month and then I narrow it down to the best 6 or 7.

Hugs to all!
