Currently Lovin': WTF Minimalism

The WTF series are SO CUTE you guys, they have a sarcasm about them that I love. Quite frankly I'd be pretty happy with one of these in my living room!

Graphics were designed by Buenos Aires-based creative studio Minga who specialise in Creative Direction, Design & Art Direction.

Cute, are they not???

If you love them too and wish to buy, you can buy them here.

House Tour: Low Key Luxe

Have you guys seen the humble home of Designer Jean-Louis Deniot??? Well Elle Decor featured this with the title of Seveth Heaven and OH_MY_GOD. Could not agree more.

Here is the glorious Paris apartment, where his signature vision is applied.

We all LOVE fixer-uppers don't we?

As he told Elle Decor, the place was also incredibly run-down. Yet Deniot was seduced by its 11 windows and smart layout. A series of four linked rooms runs along the front of the apartment, and there are no corridors— hence, no wasted space. And the location was ideal: in the heart of the Carré Rive Gauche antiques district and just a two-minute walk from his office on rue de Verneuil.

The designer approached the project very much as he would for a client. The furnishings, for instance, were all bought specifically for the apartment. He also asked himself the most basic of questions in his line of work: "What should an interior of today look like?" The response — and end result — is thoroughly grounded in tradition.

See the entire thing HERE.

This guy is a genious if you ask me.
Love everything about his place.

What say you, lovely ones?

Today, I dedicate Saturdance to my Idol........... Diana.

There’s little question in anyone’s mind that Diana Vishneva, a graduate of the Vaganova School in St. Petersburg, Russia, and a principal dancer with the Kirov (Maryinksy) Ballet, is one of the great ballerinas of our time. An impeccable technician, with a gloriously supple body.

But leaving the technique aside, I find her dancing to be the most deeply intense and passionate out there, she brings a remarkable dramatic intelligence and theatrical savvy to every roles, I tell ya, can be quite remarkable to witness.

Above: Diana Vishneva performs in Dwight Roden's "Three Point Turn," one of the three dances that make up "Beauty in Motion." Credit: Gary Friedman / Los Angeles Times

“As a member of a big company, you never have the chance to feel independent in your creative life,” says Vishneva. “Of course it’s great to do the classical repertoire, but I am always looking for something else too. If you are not growing as an artist, you might as well stop.” Diana Vishneva

Many xoxoxo! and happy Saturdance!!!

Ellen & Portia's home

Do you love openness!? salvaged wood?

Check out Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi's home in Beverly Hills. The place is pretty decadent... seriously stunning... it's a conglomeration of three separates abodes that make together nine bedrooms and 2.87 acres of land. The estate boasts a swimming pool, covered patio and koi ponds.

I personally love how organic it is. Check it out!

The luxurious home is now listed for $49 million (it took $48 million to pull it all together).

Phew!!! so glad it's not wayyy out of my budget!! LOLz.

Today's Brittish Place: East Sussex Home

Oh how I love this feature.

You know geeky me, obsessed with Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter and all things brittish. Today, some brittish awesomeness via House to Home.

This ultra-chic home is an early Victorian house in a village in East Sussex. There's a kitchen-diner, TV room, study, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and in the loft there's another double bedroom and a playroom. The color palette is TO DIE.

Try to disagree...

The prints made me drool.

Did you likey?

The smallest {and most awesome} room ever!

This is the most INSANELY rad space I have ever seen you guys. At this moment I am looking for a paper bag I can breathe into.

Belongs to Jen Chu {I am green with envy}, art director for Project Runway and you can see her whole place over at Desire to Inspire. This is SO REAL!!!!!!! for people like us who don't have a gigantic wallet! Loves it.
