At the moment...

You know, this week has been crazy and I didnt have time to prepare the usual Satur-dance post, but instead I have this little ole word of wisdom that we all have heard, we all know, but it's one of those things that are easier said than done.

At this moment in my life I am working so hard I feel there is much I am missing, especially when it comes to family time... quality time. As a single mom with a full time job {which I love} it's hard to do everything, my house is often messy and dusty, laundry piles up and so on, but there are more important things I am missing and I do realize that, so I try to make the most of my family time, enjoy my son, smile together, live the moment.

How do you make sure you live the moment?.... you know, the past is gone, and the future is not here yet... so...

Royal Style Files: Princess Charlene of Monaco

This woman makes me green with envy, blessed with INSANE genes, super tall and effortlessly chic. She has made some beautiful fashion choices, and some not so much. Let's see:

Nude coat + leather gloves?
it's a YES

Not too thrilled with the color of this prom-like dress and the jewelry choices... not to thrilled.

Gorge, GORGE in nude tones. The peplum on the suit? I DIG. And the hat is just perfect for an official event. Perfect lenght of that skirt.
The ombre gown is to DIE, and the styling, the hair everything is just too damn glorious.

Beautiful dress, almost goddess-like, but what's with the hair??? I know she used to swim and stuff, but did she just get out of the pool??? ugh. You could use some accesories girl.

All three dresses here i love, simply perfect for her body shape and I most certainly would kill for the middle one. I understand she likes simple looks... but still, dont get how a girl with her kinda money wont accesorize with fabulous purses and necklaces.. people in that royal family are very stylish! Maybe Charlotte can help?

Rumor has it she is pregnant... if so, I cannot wait to see her maternity style!!!!

What's your take on this Royal's style?

Life is a Beach...

Our lives are warm, bright yellow and always close to water.

sometimes life is also a river............

Or a pool.

Hope you enjoyed ;)

Girly Pleasures

Crushing HUGE and hard on some of the current trends like Aztec Prints, black on black, masculine suits and neon... but one of the most inspiring trends is for SURE Pastels. I belive in pastels every now and then to provide a touch of sweet {I am not particularly of sweet personality so...}
Is this you???

And here's how I put this sweetness overload together:

This is a trend you either love or you hate. How do you feel about it?

Pastel Kisses!

Stressed, Depressed, but well Dressed

Thats right.

This is SO ME right now!!! ....  and will be working all weekend.

At least I look good though.

Today's Brittish Place

Page House, in London, has this really cool vibe to it.... modern meets hipster.

With a pop of color in every room and careful mixing and matching... this is probably one of my fave Brittish places so far! Let's see what you think.

Dining set arrangement above is TO DIE. Effortlessly amazing.

The room where colors, textures and shapes, co-exist in harmony.

ok. need these chairs. What a warm, inviting room...

LOVE LOVE LOVE all the beds in this house! and HELLO mustard yellow blinds of my dreams!

The above room is young, vibrant, genius. The bellow is inspiring, girly, perfect.

I have posted this room before. But it's my favorite ever.
I'ts comforting... I'd like to be there right now. Embraced by its warmth, and it's melancholy...
welcomed by its coziness.

They say all changes have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.

They also say, a break up is like a broken mirror. It is better to leave it broken than hurt yourself to fix it.

That sounds about right.

Tiny House

Ok. You guys, swooning does not even BEGIN to cover how I feel about this adorable space. I't s a dream. I dig.

This tiny house is located in the coastal mountains of Northern California. It sits in a secluded area, far awayfrom all the traffic from the city. The owners of this house are Diana and Michael Lorence {experiencing MAJOR envy here}

But what it might seem like a normal house is in fact a very unusual home. This 12-foot square house has no electricity or hot water. The only heat source in the house is a fireplace that also serves as a stovetop for cooking. The owners claim that they in fact live a life of luxury.

Do you love it??? could you live like this?
