Darlings, it's funny... My decor style is mostly simple, plain and friendly... not many layers, pattern or colors overlapping. But you see........ my obsession with Sherlock Holmes is so deep... I constantly feel attracted to rich, victorian styles as well... Specially the crazy, experimental style of the rooms in Baker Street 221-B.
Anyway, here are some totally flippin' awesome rooms I have found, and my advise, in case you wanna go Victorian goes like this.....................
pattern, pattern, pattern.
Damask and rich, deep colors.
Dramatic window treatments and high ceilings.
{I LOVE this room}
Maps of un-traveled seas!
Black&White photos.
Sexy Purple bed. That's right.
You are going to need a tea set of course.
Some examples of the wall-paper you can use my lovelies.
And........! last, but MOST certainly not least, you had better make sure you look like this :)
{This little number is by Lacroix}
Do you share my obsession? or have I finally completely lost it..............

I agree- totally flippin awesome- I love the wallpaper- I'm too scared to do it but I will one day!
I love this style, but I love to watch it. I wouln't be able to live in such style, it's to decorative for me.
But I could watch it for hours!
ohh love the victorian look, I always envy houses with that victorian feel to it, it just looks go glam!
So sumptuous! I think it's best to add bits of Gothic, but those rooms are irresistible!
I would love to eventually find the perfect damask wallpaper for my perfect future sewing room!
Happy weekend, doll ;)
