Today's Brittish Place

If you are into minimal and contemporary design, this is definitely right up your alley. This house also features a strong Asian influence that is mostly present in the bedrooms and the amazing backyard.

This is Therapia House, enjoy my darlings!

This is not my jam but I honestly can see some very beautiful elements in this house. LOVE the simplicity, the wood work and the bold use of color.

YAY or NAY?

Refurbished Flat in Barcelona

This is one of the most glorious refurbished spaces I've ever seen. You know, old buildings have a certain charm to it, which is why many people like buying Old rather than new... fixer-uppers sure are attractive to some of us, but remodeling can be really expensive.

The house features a delicious blend of contemporary and traditional- swoon.
Check it out!

Via Decoist,

Oh the floors!!! the tall ceilings!!

The windows and views!!!

Question:
Would you rather have a brand new house {white canvas?} or a Fixer Upper???

Love a Window Seat

Nothing cooler than being inside but feeling you're outside. Right, I make no sense.

What I mean is, I LOVE a space that brings the outdoors in!!! don't you? Here is this amazing small modern home outfitted with the coolest window seat. Seriously.

Carter Williamson Architects created this place, with interiors that seem to flow seamlessly right into the great outdoors. This Sydney, Australia house design features a massive sliding glass wall that lets natural light flood the space.

The dining table offers an always pleasant view, and across the dining nook, the kitchen features clean, contemporary finishes. This space is a combination of living/dining/cooking area that sure invites you kick back.

Tea with the Queen!

Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 April 1926) is the constitutional monarch of 16 sovereign states known as the Commonwealth realms, and head of the 54-member Commonwealth of Nations. She is also head of state of the Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories.

Clearly her Diamond Jubilee being celebrated this year across the pond is a BIG DEAL.
Tea with the queen is something I'd very much like to do if I had the opportunity, I am sure it must be totally off the chain. Now, I may not have the invitation {yet} but I sure know what I'll be wearing:

DO YOU think the outfit is appropriate?

A New York style Loft

I love anything New York and I love Lofts. Well, this place is BOTH but get this: it's in Vienna, Austria and it has a design inspired by the classical New York lofts.

Owned by a family of four, you will notice that the space is not divided into rooms but rather into some sort of boxes. There are three such volumes and they each fulfill a different function. The loft covers a total area of 260 square meters and inside there are separate zones with different levels of privacy

One of the volumes includes the children’s rooms. These spaces are acoustically separated by the rest of the loft with floor-to-ceiling acoustic glass elements {ok. this is BRILLIANT}.

The parent’s bedroom is another area and it’s separated from the living area with large sliding doors. These two volumes are the privacy spaces of the loft.

It’s visible that the loft still features some of the industrial character of the building but it has been personalized with individual furniture pieces and a simple but very stylish interior design.

One word: OBSESSED.

3 Noteworthy Spaces

Mondays are tough, we all know that. Some amazing room porn is definitely what we all need on a monday to brighten our spirits. Riiiight? Check this out.

First of all, a master piece brought to you by Feldman Architecture {photo via Desire to Inspire} and I am like, FLOORED. Is there a more gorgeous kitchen out there? God, there are so many drool-worthy elements here it's not funny. Gotta love that loooong island, I am sure those who cook appreciate it. But there is also the natural light, the stone backsplash, the un-even shelves and the glorious salvaged wood at the front of the counter.

Then, we have this beauty... OH swoon! I am always crazy about a good gallery wall and some mean shades of gray! LOVE how this room is not femenine at all. I could live here no problemo.

And now, a gorgeous room that reminds me of the English countryside. Got one word: DIVINE!
PS. I DIE for that Blanket!!!!!

Enjoy your evening loves!

Salad in a Jar!

Guys, I've been having some health issues, mainly its because I work too many hours, I drink too much coffee, I travel, sometimes I don't have time for breakfast, etc. So I got in trouble and now I am forced to eat right and follow a treatment so that my stomach recovers.

Doc told me I should pack healthy snacks everyday and not allow my stomach to be empty now that its so weak. So on-line I went and found this genius way to pack a salad in a Jar! I did it today and I am the happiest camper.

The secret is to put the dressing at the bottom, and the lettuce on top, make sure they never touch by putting everything else in between. Carrots, cucumber and mushrooms can go next on top of the dressing. Just stick to that rule and your salad will be perfect and fresh even if you prepare it the night before {which I did}.

I honestly think this is a whole new level of genius- my salad stayed fresh and healthy and when it was time to eat, all I did was put the jar up-side down for a while so the dressing covered everything.

If you have any more lunch-packing secrets for the office, DO SHARE, i need'em!
