The other day I mentioned how color is my drug... well, it's no surprise I am HEAD over HEELS for this blog I found "for men" which is totally, TOTALLY rad and beyond.
Man Made DIY has a wednesday feature called BLOW MY MINDSDAY and PUh-Lease! my mind has been blown for real.
Like this fractal mineral art which is an actual geological find. Yes people, as in, MADE BY NATURE, colors and all.
Crazy cool right?
Now, there was this other post onThe Au Vieux Panier hotel in Marseille, France that has but five rooms total, but each are redesigned and reconfigured every year by internationally recognized artists and designers. This space elow was conceptualized by famous street artist Tilt, who covered half the room in colorful graffiti while leaving the other half an austere white. GENIUS. Flippin' genius.

This closet of moi
Finally got around to organizing my closet the other night... and it feels gooooood.
It's looking rather colorful these days, which i love. There are two long shoe shelves at the top.
At the bottom there's more shoes, some purses and a basket with assorted objects
A shelf where a small jewelry hanger keeps all of my necklaces and a tray with rings - not pictured
On the floor.... flats, shoe boxes and le-beach-tote
That's it, there's a dresser with t-shirts, undies and jeans but that's outside of the closet and didnt really need rearranging.
I should do this more often..... but then again, I should eat healthy too... how are you with organization?

Color is my drug
I just could not live in an all-white house. I look at those stunning white interiors and sigh.
Truth is, I feel this rush, this excitement and energy when I see color and that's all I need to be happy. With that in mind, I came across this amazingly happy bedroom, where two sets of colorful stripes make their big entrance, a piece of art that is vibrant and chic at the same time and many accent items carefully picked out, there's also a moroccan feel to it and J'ADORE!...... MAJOR sigh.

Not my mother's pearls
Hey there, I thought this outfit turned out pretty damn cute today so here I am sharing it.
I had no-one to take the photo for me so you can only see the upper part of my blush dress + my new extra loooong pearl necklace.
You'll excuse the crappy blackberry photos I am sure.
Sometimes I wish my hair was short + black A-la Audrey Hepburn so I could wear things like this and pull that whole Chic Audrey Girl style...

Chic Lolita
I am always loving the fun side of fashion, when you can just forget about what people will say and wear your boyfriend's shirt (as a dress) + a belt + stilettoand go!...... I am currently loving what I call the Chic Lolita style... it's adorable. If you're anywhere under 35 you can pull it off a-la Carrie Bradshaw, it's playful and totally sexy.
Yesterday I was reading some google sites and came across the image of the living Barbie doll, her name is Dakota Rose and i was like: wtf? seriously, unreal killer genes.......... :
Anyway, this girl Dakota, aka Kota Koti.... inspired my Chic Lolita outfit post. Let's see if you likey...

Mustard me pretty
I know this is typically a fall color... but who cares... I dig it.
For starters... here's a little jewel via House to Home that will need a little analysis: The paneling is impeccable, wall art placement is just right, but please check out the two chairs and the genious upholstery with the difference in the direction of the stripes, that's bold. Now, one thing is FOR SURE: Florals with stripes are in.
So go ahead, abuse the terend all you want, put them together in your house and what's better: WEAR THEM!!!
