Mighty inspired clothing... Maria Lucia Hohan

You guys.... thank you for all your fabulous imput yesterday with that love/hate post.... I most certainly did not want for everyone to agree with me but I did want to hear your take and opinions on the spaces and it was awesome!

Now, having said that, I have a request. Can someone get married or throw an amazing party and pronto!!!?

You see... I need an excuse to buy one of these babies!.....

Maria Lucia has two distinctive lines... and this is what she has to say about them :)

- "MARIALUCIAHOHAN luxurywear for urban divas – is a line of gorgeous vaporous silk mousseline dresses, in sweet candy pastel tones and soft silky touch, with precious details in textured metallic leather or vintagelooking lace. These gowns are to be worn at more glamourous events, they come in exquisite colours and fabrics available only in this collection."

"- MLH glam& girlie – is the more affordable line created especially for party dresses and late afternoon cocktails. The clothes are chic but girlie, the one that wears them will always appear fresh and happy, delicate and innocent, yet sensual and utterly seductive.

ADORBS!!!!

here's some more eye candy...

Maria Lucia is soooo pretty and chic.... she totally looks like Blair from Gossip Girl.

Hating some... loving some.

This is Chicago Designer Susan Swanson's house. And while I am loving some of it... I am hating some with a passion too. Lets see what effect this has on you lovelies...

black & white + simple, well balanced elements... I love.

Bistro corner.. in the bedroom? I HATE...

{I'd put a comfy chair to read instead}

These chairs look awefully uncomfortable!

Some pattern mix... simple art... I LOVE!

Colorful wall art, natural light and furniture with retro feel... I love.

Traditional cabinets + industrial stainless steel elements

Me NO Likey At ALL!!!

gray color palette for the dining room, lovely art and window treatment and beautiful chairs...

I love :)
{not lovin' the table though}

Beautiful color palette and simple elements, gorgeous pillows, perfect coffee table + tons of light
I love!

Love these accents...

This is a lovely space. Unfortunately, it was not styled properly and the beautiful fireplace, which should be highlighted as focal point, has been blocked by the chair.

The chair should have been angled for a better view of the fireplace and to maintain the conversational arrangement.

Thoughts???

Love and xoxo!

I'll take her entire closet please!

Yup... it's that time of the month, where we experience some serious style-lust. You see... There is enough evidence in the world to prove that Rich does NOT always = Stylish. There are tons of girls out there who have a zillion dollars and yet {goodness gracious!}they don't go out and buy a flippin' comb!!!. There's others that just totally take spray-tanning to a whole new level of crazy... and the list goes on and on.

Of course there is people that ALWAYS look good... ! and this feature is about them.

So far we have explored the stunning Queen Rania's closet and Suri Cruise's faboosh street style.

This time, I'd totally buy the entire closet of socialité Olivia Palermo. And...... {Ehem!} how much is her boyfriend?

Olivia Palermo is the daughter of Real Estate mogul Douglas Palermo. She studied in Paris and back home in New York. [what a Gossip Girl kinda life!]

She moved into her family luxurious apartment in the Upper East Side in Tribeca, tastefully decorated by her mother. Her debut in the NY social life started when celebrity photographers started to follow her in every event. Then, she appeard in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, InStyle, Life & Style and even New York Magazine as the It-Girl in May 2007!

Her Job: Wilhemina Models, PR Department of Diane Von Furstenberg and Elle Magazine. She is also in the MTV reality show The City.

Girlfriends... I'd make some serious sacrifices for this belt.

This Tux look is HOT. The Hermes Birkin Bag + YSL shoes... swoon!

This impeccable City style...
combined with Suri Cruise's relaxed street looks and I am good to go!!!!!

Artsy Vs. Vintage

I think I know which one will win ;)

So tell me.... what would you do with that empty wall?

1.- Cover it with Vintage treasures, antique pictures and flea-market finds?
2.- Bring out your artistic-self?

After much careful consideration I surprised myself by deciding I'd go for the Artsy wall!!!

Fabulousness Times 4.... ♥ Modern Fireplace

Hello there girls and boys! I had a hectic first half of the morning and being here to post something pretty makes me OH-SO happy!!!! you see... it's been raining so much here and rivers are at the top of their capacity and roads are so ugly... me and my lil' boy were stuck in trafic for almost an hour and missed school {we were so late they wouldnt let us in... } anyway, i had to call my mom.. yada-yada-yada.... it's all good now.

Ok today on Fabulousness times 4, I've got some fireplaces. Since I see all over the blogosphere, everyone is so excited about fall and scarves and pretty outfits. This time I wanted to depart from the classic/traditional style and show some modern babies. First one is my fave. Lets see if you likey ;)

All-white warmth
{is that a perfect mantel or WHATTT}

Bedroom cozy... this room was so perfectly styled I die.
Just look at the bookshelves arrangement, the position of the chair... swoon!

Perfect substitute...
{this is what I NEED since the weather here is not fire-friendly}

Love in the kitchen
This fire provides such warmth to this kitchen, I'd bet the family spends hours and hours in here. I am not a big fan of such sharp edges though. Do you like this???

I feel much better after writing this post. Its amazing what the blog does for my life!

Love you all!!!

Delicious Farmhouse Charm...

Hello lovely friends! sorry it took me like forever to post. I have been working on some minor pretty details for the blog [like new colors and banner. You like?] and on top of that I had a hectic weekend {at work... can you believe?}... Aaaanyway. Enought whining.

I am posting this beauty to see if you wanna spend an imaginary holiday with me in this insanely charming farmhouse... gosh! {and heck!} I'd like to live there!

We can have cocktails while talking about our lives in different corners of the world...
We can take lovely nature walks to unwind...
We can have coffee and waffles outside...

Ok, back to the house. Here it is:

Wrought iron really is fab isnt it?

Just look at this gorgeous headboard...

And bench...

Oh I'd be so happy in here! I'd even sing in the shower probably!
{Ehem! I do not normally do that}

Shelves surrounding the french doors??? it's genius!
and please dont miss the beautiful table!

Neutral colors... salvaged accents, more wrought iron & white slipcovers create this comfy spot by the fire...

These beautiful salvaged wooden doors welcome you into the house :)

Adorbs... so when do we leave???

xoxo

today's brittish place ❤

Yayyy!!! it's time for yet another obsession-worthy brittish place.

This is the feature where I fantasize nonstop about me and Sherlock {holmes} living the perfect life full or mystery, art, science of deduction, Scottland Yard officials and all things sexy in London. Ok, now that you all think I am completely mental, here is Today's Brittis place.

The Ashington House is probably the most intriguing I have posted about. And one of the most beautiful without a doubt! I am sure the owner is quite eccentric... there are travel treasures, antique doll-houses and rooms that are just modern, airy and easy going but make shocking contrast with rooms that are the exact opposite.

I love this kitchen.

Outdoor fabulousness

Natural and salvaged accents in the dining room

A collection of antiques and a picture perfect window.

I need this giant wrought iron clock
{i might have to move out of my house to make room for it though}

No seriously, isnt this the loveliest foyer?

Neutrals rock.

More antiques...

Kids need their castle....

What do you make of this dark basement... ?
sexy?
creepy?
stylish?
hate it?
can't live without?

This is what's down there...

And this!!

Guys, do you fancy???
