Falling.... 9 to 5

Best time of the year for showing off some serious layering and really showcasing your closet is definitely Fall...

I obsess with fall colors and trends every-single-year {and quite intensely} So, this is the first of 5 post with Fall outfits for different purposes.

I have had quite the dilema over the last 2 weeks, been offered 2 new jobs and in my current job things keep complicating {endlessly it seems}... so, let me ask you, when it comes to a job, do you usually follow your gut when making a decision? or do you think about it and sleep on it over and over?

I tend to create a lot of drama inside my head, and I've had many "Just-do-it" followed by "worst-idea-ever" moments this week...

Fashion Files: Weekend Fun

I don't remember ever looking forward to a weekend quite like I did yesterday.

There is nothing special going on in particular, its just that I really needed a break. It's been heck at work and I am just glad I am up for some down-time with my little boy.

Today - For sure I'll be wearing something like this and doing some shopping, drinking ice tea and reading my book. Can't wait!

Tomorrow - will stay home in my pj's all day and do nothin'. Pure Bliss.

Blogging has changed my life,

I started three years ago wanting to write about pretty things, and things you can do yourself,

Wanting to share some kick-ass fashion,

My obsession with royalty, chalkboard paint and open shelves

Not knowing where it was going to take me, if I would be able to inspire people.

I didn’t have it all figured out. Did not have a plan.

And wasnt sure if I would last.

I just want to say THANK YOU, thank you because you all have made this journey special. One I hope to continue for many years as you are all my dear friends now. I feel connected. So, thank you.

Chic Lolita

I am always loving the fun side of fashion, when you can just forget about what people will say and wear your boyfriend's shirt (as a dress) + a belt + stilettoand go!...... I am currently loving what I call the Chic Lolita style... it's adorable. If you're anywhere under 35 you can pull it off a-la Carrie Bradshaw, it's playful and totally sexy.
