Today's Brittish Place

Monday... monday... monday. Be gone already! {there is something about mondays, is there not??} aaaaaaaaaaanyway.

Today, on Today's Brittish Place, the STUNNING Marlow House, in Bucks. 250 acre estate: animal sanctuary, private full-scale railway {yup, you'd better believe it}, victorian station, victorian fairground stuff, railway museum and ironhenge.

This house was built 50 years ago and has a delicious Georgian feel. ENJOY! 

LOVE these two areas (above and below) I think the colors are stunning, the rugs to die and the fabulous wood and old objects add all the personality. Just look at the windows......

I do have mixed feelings about this room below. Not so sure from this point of view...

But then I look at this other shot and LOVE it! the ceiling is perfection, all that light, and those floors and the wonderful mix of chairs! swoon.

now THIS dining room is pretty effing cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The master bedroom has this super-interesting sitting area.

The Factory House

{there is NOT much more for me to say luvs, this place has left me SPEECHLESS!, which is a tough task indeed}

Everything about this house is special... there is the mix of old and new, the Victorial feel to it, the bare brick walls, the stunning art & chandeliers... it's just... WOW. I need to move into a place like this and PRONTO. I seriously feel my happiness entirely depends upon that.

Go Victorian........

Darlings, it's funny... My decor style is mostly simple, plain and friendly... not many layers, pattern or colors overlapping. But you see........ my obsession with Sherlock Holmes is so deep... I constantly feel attracted to rich, victorian styles as well... Specially the crazy, experimental style of the rooms in Baker Street 221-B.

Anyway, here are some totally flippin' awesome rooms I have found, and my advise, in case you wanna go Victorian goes like this.....................
